Custom Single-Family Home Designed by The Brown Studio

This Mountain Modern-style home designed by The Brown Studio is one of 19 "Traverse" model homes Plant prefabricated for The Palisades at Olympic Valley, a new development in the heart of Tahoe ski country.

This Traverse design features an open-plan living area complete with chef's kitchen and fireplace, opening onto an expansive deck. All four bedrooms offer an en-suite bath, and large windows throughout provide unfettered views to the wooded surrounds. An oversized garage and mudroom entry with ski storage cater to the practicalities of alpine living.

Each Traverse model home was efficiently prefabricated in 10-14 weeks utilizing a combination of Plant Panels and Plant Modules. Panels were used for the garage, hallways, and other simple spaces, while the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room were constructed as Plant Modules for minimal on-site finish work. The modules shipped complete with flooring, tile work, cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and appliances in place, and the home was weathertight upon installation.

Plant prefabricated a total of 35 homes for The Palisades community, which also includes Alpine, Summit, and Slalom model homes.
