In December 2021 we announced plans for our third factory, a 270,000-square-foot automated facility in Tejon Ranch, CA that will expand our production capacity to support large-scale developments and enable a step change in production velocity, quality control, and sustainability.

As construction of the new factory progresses, we'll share updates in this blog post. (And if you haven't already seen it, this video provides a great preview of the finished facility!)

February 15, 2023: Equipment Assembly and Office Build-Out

Equipment continues to arrive and is being assembled at the factory.

The build-out of the offices has begun.

Landscaping progress continues on the grounds.

January 20, 2023: Roof Complete + Additional Progress

The roof of the factory is complete, including the installation of skylights that will provide natural light to the interior.

Painting of the exterior is nearly complete.

All asphalt and concrete on the site has been poured.

Another exciting step—equipment is arriving!

October 13, 2022: Welcome to Our First Tejon Ranch Employee!

We're excited to announce that we've hired our first Tejon Ranch Hub employee, Equipment & Facilities Engineering Manager Frank J. Hill. Frank brings a wealth of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, and quality management and will serve as our on-site expert to oversee the factory build-out and equipment management. Welcome, Frank!

July 5, 2022: Foundation Progress

Site preparation was completed during the spring, followed by construction of the foundation in the summer.

January 13, 2022: Groundbreaking!

Today we officially broke ground on our new factory. The facility will be built to spec on a 17-acre parcel in the in the Tejon Ranch Commerce Center, conveniently located on Interstate 5 just south of Bakersfield, CA.
